Gamakatsu S11-4L size 8

Latex strip cut from a normal latex glove

Mono eyes

Goose biots

Ostrich Herl fibers

Dubbing and wire

Lead wire and 3M surgical tape

Markers

Step by step

1. Bend the hook and prepare the with thread

2. Tie in some lead to create a taper profile of the abdome

3. I like to tape it with surgical tape to further create a smoother taper body

4. Cover with thread

5. Tie in the latex strip and wire

6. Tie in a pair of Ostrich herl fibers

7. Cover the body with the latex strip

8. Bring to front the pair of Ostrich herl fibers

9. Bring back the wire and follow the winding of the latex

10. Tie in another latex strip

11. Now tie in 3 pairs of Goose biots as legs

12. Dub in some dubbing to split the legs

13. Fold the latex strip over the dubbing

14. Tie in the mono eyes

15. Again fold the latex over to create the thorax

16. Tie down the latex

17. Trim the latex strip

18. Cut the balance of the latex into a wing case

19. Color the fly with markers and the Latex Dragonfly Nymph is ready
