This fly pattern was created for hunting in fast-flowing waters of alpine streams, when the sun is setting on hot summer days.

Materials

Hook Size 12 Barbless Grub
Thread White thread floss and textrene 8/0
Body Three elk hairs, two clear, one dark
Thorax Cover Pheasant tail
Thorax Golden seal fur substitute and natural squirrel
Wings Clear CDC
