This is a typical incitative grayling fly. I invented it when searching something shiny in a rose colour.
It proved itself as a catching machine in Lapland, Belgium and Slovenia.
It is really a great fly, quite easy to tie and very effective !

Uni mylar silver tinsel, with pheasant tail strands covered over its back
Tail
Pheasant tail + put a tag with the rose thread
Thorax

Step by Step
1. Put on the bead2. Cover the shank with 5 turns of 0,40 mm lead wire3. Form the underbody with the thread to form a nice cone4. Secure the pheasant fibres to form the tail5.Secure the rose copper wire and the silver tinsel6. Secure the tinsel from eye to back of the hook7. Cover the tinsel at the back of the hook with the thread, like this you make your hotspot at the tail8. Cover the underbody with the silver tinsel9. Cover the back of the tinsel body with the pheasant tail fibres, fixing it with the copper wire rib10. Clip the rest of the fibers and tinsel11. Cover your thread with the dubbing12. Form your thorax13. Whip finish14. Point out some fibres of your thorax15. Here’s your nymph
