This year we will produce a video about a belgian river, the Amblève, for which we started to record some takes a few weeks ago.
This is one of my favourites rivers in Belgium, there are big rocks in the stream, it’s surrounded by the forest and you really feel at peace there !
I was there with Jérémy for the occasion, as usual you will say… and also with a special guest, Alex.
Alex has recently joined the Rodtrip team and it was a good occasion to spend some time together. This guy is an incredible fisherman !
We have been lucky because we decided to go fishing one of the first days of the season when the flies were out ! We had some nice hatches, especially of caddis and also few day flies !
There were flies on the surface, therefore the fish were having lunch and we were there, alone with the river.
You can guess that we had a great fishing day, especially on dries, we caught many fishes and had a lot of fun.
I won’t tell you more about this day because we want to keep the surprise for the video but we wanted to share with you some pictures of this nice fishing session.
Of course we will go back soon on the river with the other guys to finalize the movie !
