Once the waste furry fibres taken out.5. Fix the yack wing. Don’t forget to spread the wing over the tube with your fingers before fixing it firmly. Apply a generous amount of superglue.6. Tie in the holographic fibres, centering them over the wing. As with the yack, spread it over the the tube before fixing it. Apply enough superglue.7. The length of the holographic fibres should be a little longer than the yak wing.8. If you wish, you can tie in wing feathers (preferably in a colour which creates a contrast) at this stage, they will help the streamer’s swim. Tie them in at the same length as the holographic fibres. Apply enough superglue at the fixing knot.9. Tie in a strip of rose cross cut racoon, making sure that it’s fibres point at the back of the fly. Apply enough superglue at the fixing knot, as well as on the tube where the cross cut will be mounted on.10. Tie this strip in untill you get an nice shape on the streamer.11. After having tied in the orange cross cut rabbit, make 2 or 3 turns maximum to create a contrast at the head. Apply a generous amount of superglue, Make the final knot, and clip your thread.12. Free the fly from your vice, and slip on the cone to see if it can be placed nicely. Remove it and apply a generous amount of superglue before re-slipping it back into place definitively.13. Cut back the sleeve to leave ¾ mm, heat that end with a lighter to melt the plastic tube, so you lock the cone. Wait 3-4 seconds, and if needed, pass a needle to open the sleeve.14.
